Description
Sometimes referred to as a “Galvanic Isolator” this Common Mode Choke helps reduce noise caused by switch mode power supplies, TV sets, PCs and other electronic devices, that is carried up the outside braid of coaxial cable antenna feed, and then back to your receiver. By placing this isolator in the antenna feedline, the signals being conducted up the out side braid are interrupted and do not reach the receiver. We recommend the use of two of these units, one at the antenna, and one as the coaxial cable enters the building. This device can help improve the received signal to noise ratio, by reducing the noise component.
